Greetings from Kona

Wow! God is so good! I am so blessed to be able to go on this trip!

Right now I am on a plane on my way to Taipei which is just north of the Philippines. It is 5:26am but it feels like noon. When we went over the International Date Line we skipped Tuesday and went straight to Wednesday! Time change is a crazy thing! We have been on this plane for 13 hours and we still have one more to go. I never thought that I could sit for so long!

We are flying with China Air so all of the stewards and stewardesses are Chinese. If you ask them for a glass of water they come back with it and say, “thank you.” I don’t think that they quite have the concept of that word yet.

Sleeping on a plane is pretty hard for me. Thankfully I had my dad’s shoulder to lean on. I can’t imagine what it would be like to fly for 14 hours alone!

The lady sitting next to us is also going to the Philippines. She lives in Manila which is where we will be going for the last three days of the trip. We are going there to go shopping! Yay! LOL

After we get to Taipei we will fly out to Manila and from there to Davao. We won’t get in until Wednesday night. I am so glad that my dad brought his iPod!

I am so excited to see what God has for me on this trip! Please keep us in your prayers!
