The Adventure Continues from Prison

Last night the students all participated at a women's correction facility south of Boise. Here is a letter from one of our prison ministry leaders about the night.
____________

I just had to let you know about the service at South Boise Women's Corrections tonight! As you know Lynn Brown brought out six students from the School of Christian Character Development. They all got in without a hitch which is significant in itself (thanks for favor Lord!).

Lynn and I planned to have the students speak about 5 min. each after I lead the ladies in our regular worship service portion. During the worship one of the ladies had to excuse herself from the worship, seeking Lynn and one of the students out - she wanted to receive Jesus --right now!

Lynn introduced the students and one by one they began to share some of who they were and their experience with this Jesus in Paraguay. I would like to attempt to tell all that happened, but I can't. Each student's story so touched these women! They truly saw Jesus tonight and one by one as each student began to share Jesus became more amd more visible! Each one was unique and so beautiful - touching the women's hearts beyond measure! The women couldn't get enough kleenex! One of the young men sensed the great need and got up to retrieve a box from the counter handing it to one woman - even that small gesture spoke of the love of Christ powerfully! The last young man who spoke began sharing what had happened on the trip - how he prayed with women who had been abused and mistreated by men - then the Lord prompted him to get on his knees and ask forgiveness on behalf of all the men who had abused them in their lives as he continued to pray that bondages be lifted from these precious ladies! The entire room began to be filled with sweet release as the women were set free from pain they had experienced in their past.

I really can't describe all that the Lord did through these beautiful young students - they are so precious and so blessed each of the 70 women who were present tonight at SBWCC! The ladies didn't want to see them leave - they hung on and sang a song spontaneously while exiting - I believe a thank offering to the students - they had alrealy gone beyond their 9:00 recall.

My heart is full as I soaked in all the Lord had given to us all tonight! What an awesome God we serve and what beauty he revealed tonight through all His kids! God is good all the time!
